So yesterday Mack went to Grandma H's for part of the day including storytime @ the neighborhood library. She had a blast, and I met Grandpa H and Bob up @ Keystone for a few runs. Great snow and I'm starting to figure out our new GPS unit. Mack and I will be geocaching before you know it.

M walked in on us starting our after lunch 1/2 hour of tv today and had to take a picture. So now you know, we Sesame and we're proud of it!

According to the agreement Mack's parents arrived at concerning football season, the little one is to be supported in cheering for the home teams in both pro and college (we don't want her being an outcast just because her parents cheer for some unpopular teams in this area). In accordance with this agreement I dressed her in this Bronco's shirt before the game today... she immediately spit up on it numerous times. If only the boys in Vegas knew what she must have known. And the family Superbowl theory fell apart today ie: Dad's team won year he was born, mom's team won the year they were married, hence mom and mack's team win the year mack's born.... NOT.

Grandma H made me this great hat and dad took a few days to get a mediocre picture of it on the blog. Let's see.... knitting for hours... done. Uploading a stinking file takes 48 hours.... Give a man a job and see how it ends up I tell ya....

What a Week!

Mack broke the world macknap record today with a posting of 2 hours 46 minutes for the afternoon nap. Lets just say life is much easier with long naps. M and stinky B went with us for a hike in the mackpack this afternoon and we were discussing all the changes she's made this week.... eating veggies like a champ, sitting up on her own, outgrew her carseat, and now napping like she should. As I read this it sounds like a bragging father, ,,, but watching it happen before our eyes is an experience I couldn't have dreamed. Have a great weekend!

Thank you girls for a nice birthday. I couldn't have asked for a better way to spend this one. We went out for dinner @ Buca Di Bepo..(CALAMARI!!). By the way, part of the reason I'm so weird about this year's goes back to that "3 is the root of all numbers in our lives" thing. And now I turn 36 on the 12'th day of 06' I bet you never thought of pops and Howard Hughes in the same vein before.... Or, maybe you did and I didn't. Thank you

Peas Rock, Naps Suck, and Dad's SOOO confused

Sometimes I think she just likes reminding us who's in charge. Today Peas are yummy.... who'da thought... and naps should never be longer than 50 minutes. Sorry about the absence of cute mack picks but I've spent the evening troubleshooting the home wifi...we're so advanced that we keep falling behind.

A decent Monday overall. Mack broke the 2 hour barrier for nap duration today. Beating her previous record by almost 1 hour. And as always, with a little victory, she throws in a little hurdle.... Peas suck in Ms. Macks opinion. We'll try it again tomorrow

If you couldn't tell,,,,, while M has been in Dallas this week, Mack & I went up to G & G's condo in the hills. The snow was incredible and G& G helped me entertain the little one. We're home now and pick M up in the morning. She has been missed. If you see any strange messages in flickr from this week understand that's our family way of sending notes to M.

It seems wrong that we have more than two photos per day of her existence. Bear with me as this flickr site is how I'll be updating M with new camera phone pix this week while she's on the road.

More new experiences

Sorry folks, no pictures of Mack in a silly hat today. The three day weekend was a great opportunity for the three of us to spend some quality family time together. This afternoon we went to the dog park @ Chatfield res. and test drove the mackpack. Everyone had a good time including stinky B. Tomorrow M has to go to Dallas for her first business trip since Mack was born. We'll really miss her, I'm glad we had the weekend together.
